Print this page at 100% / Actual Size. Do not select “Fit to Page”, “Shrink to Fit”, or any scaling. Incorrect scaling will make measurements inaccurate. Use a physical ruler to confirm the scale bar below measures exactly 2 inches (50.8 mm).
SCALE CHECK: This bar must measure exactly 2 inches (50.8 mm)

How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

Method 1 — Paper or String (Recommended)

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper (about ½ inch / 12 mm wide) or use non-stretchy string/floss.
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. It should feel comfortable — not tight, not loose.
  3. Mark the exact point where the ends overlap with a pen.
  4. Lay the strip flat and measure the length in millimeters with a ruler. This is your finger circumference.
  5. Find the closest circumference in the chart below to determine your US size.

Method 2 — Existing Ring

If you already own a ring that fits the same finger well, measure its inside diameter in millimeters (straight across the inside of the band). Match that number to the Diameter column in the chart.

Tips for Best Accuracy

  • Measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly larger.
  • Measure when your hands are at normal room temperature (cold makes fingers smaller).
  • If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
  • Wider bands (like this revolver-style ring) feel tighter — consider going up ½ size from your usual thin-band size.
  • Measure the specific finger and hand you will wear the ring on (dominant hand is often slightly larger).
  • For the most accurate result, measure 2–3 times and take the average.

Note for this ring: The revolver cylinder design is a wider band. Wider rings generally fit more snugly than thin bands of the same size. If you normally wear a thin ring in size X, many customers prefer size X½ for a comfortable fit on wider styles. When in doubt, size up.
